Junior 417P Armchair by Yrjö Kukkapuro

This little design classic is the Junior 417P armchair by the Finnish designer Yrjö Kukkapuro. The Junior armchair shares a similar shape and style as the larger Karuselli armchair. The sitting position is more upright and the design is more slender.

Originally designed in the 1960’s, the chair is now back in production by Avarte. The prices of second hand, vintage chairs are around 500-600€. If you find one in decent condition, it is worth it. Or you can buy a new one for about 1 000€.
