Plaano Desk Chair by Yrjö Kukkapuro

Yrjö Kukkapuro designed the Plaano swivel desk chair in the 1970s. The chair was manufactured by the Finnish furniture company Haimi, which later became Avarte.

This desk chair is a perfect choice, if you are looking for an ergonomic and comfortable chair that doesn’t look ugly, bulky and like it was stolen from some insurance office.

Additionally, a vintage chair like Plaano will only look better as it gradually ages. The chair is no longer in production. Prices for vintage chairs are around 500-1000 €.
