Technics SL-10 Turntable

The Technics SL-10 is a direct-drive turntable that was first released in 1979. It was designed by Shuichi Obata and produced by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., which is now known as Panasonic. The SL-10 is considered to be one of the best turntables ever made, and it is still popular among audiophiles today.

The SL-10 is a direct-drive turntable, which means that the motor is directly connected to the platter. This results in very accurate speed and minimal wow and flutter. The platter is made of aluminum and is suspended on a gimbal bearing, which further isolates it from vibration.

The SL-10 has a number of features that make it a great turntable for audiophiles. It has a high-quality tonearm with a counterweight and anti-skate control. The cartridge is mounted on a headshell that can be easily removed and replaced. The SL-10 also has a built-in phono preamp, so it can be connected directly to an amplifier without the need for an external preamp.
