Frisco Table by Folke Ohlsson

Folke Ohlsson designed many variations of the Frisco coffee table in the 1960s. The table is made of teak and manufactured by the Swedish furniture company Tingströms. The long sides of the table top are beautifully curved upwards, and the design of the entire table is nicely balanced, with an appearance of being light and sturdy at the same time.

Ohlsson was born in Sweden in 1919 and moved to the United States in 1953. In California, Ohlsson founded the Dux inc., and he is highly regarded for his role in advancing the popularity of Scandinavian furniture in America.
